James Hill leaves CBB as winner and with a new BFF

TV star James Hill opened up about his relationship with controversial Celebrity Big Brother contestant Austin Armacost as he was crowned winner last night (24Sep15).

(Cover) - EN TV - Former Apprentice star James Hill expressed gratitude for his bromance with Austin Armacost as he was crowned Celebrity Big Brother 2015 winner yesterday (24Sep15).

The entrepreneur may have failed to impress Lord Sugar last year (14), getting fired in week eight, but he proved popular in the house.

One of the series’ most entertaining parts was his close relationship with controversial contestant Austin. But disregarding his sometimes questionable behaviour, James had nothing but praise for his friend.

“That guy is my number one. I'm a loner and to have someone in that house to lean on,” he gushed to host Emma Willis after leaving the house.

"I think he was sent to me. We had some special moments."

Austin – who previously dated fashion designer Marc Jacobs - caused some tension on CBB and after one row with James, he unleashed an attack on fellow contestant Janice Dickinson, calling her a “terrible” mother.

Despite their close relationship, James ended up nominating his pal for eviction. It wasn’t an easy decision, but one he stands by.

"As much as I love him and it was a hard decision to make but the way he'd been carrying on wasn't right,” he explained.

"I wanted him to realise his strengths."

Following the big argument, Austin headed to the diary room to explain the hurt behind his words.

"I had to bury my brother and then send my mom to prison. I saw my mom for a week before I came to London and I come back to Huddersfield and see this amazing family that my husband has and that p**ses me off because my family is self-destructive and crumbled from within and that s**t p**ses me off and nobody can seem to realise that what I am going through,” he ranted.

But while James ultimately proved the most popular, there was some speculation he was playing a game in the house. However, he strongly denies this.

"I've been myself in there,” he stated.

"I didn't have strategy or a game plan. I go with my gut and instinct."
