Jane McDonald fronts new ITV show

Jane McDonald will front a workplace makeover show

ITV has commissioned a new makeover show - presented by Jane McDonald.

Daytime show Star Treatment, a workplace makeover series, will launch this summer.

The series will see Loose Women's Jane visit workplaces, including offices, factories, clubs and institutions, around the UK with a style team.

Workers who have been nominated for "star treatment" by their bosses for their hard work and positive attitude will be treated to a full makeover.

They'll then walk down the catwalk in front of friends, family and colleagues, before being treated to a gourmet meal prepared by their boss and a top chef.

Andrew Nicholson, executive producer of production company Shiver, said: "Jane McDonald brings her unique brand of northern warmth to Star Treatment, which gives Britain's bosses the chance to reward their most deserving workplace stars with a luxurious makeover and lavish meal.

"Packed full of astonishing transformations, great food and heart-warming stories, we hope the show will be enjoyed by viewers around the country."

Jane said: "I'm having the time of my life travelling around Britain finding the unsung heroes of the workplace."
