Jen An 'to mentor Gomez'
Jennifer Aniston is said to be eager to help boost Selena Gomez's acting career.
The 45-year-old actress found international fame with her role as Rachel Green in hit sitcom Friends and has since gone on to star in successful movies such as Horrible Bosses.
Selena also began her career on the small-screen in Wizards of Waverly Place. She has her music career as well and is starting to move into bigger acting projects, a decision which Jennifer is said to be keen on supporting. The pair reportedly went for a friendly dinner together in Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles last Saturday.
"Jennifer is really interested in making Selena’s transition very easy with her new movie career goals, now that they are working with the same people," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "They aren’t working on anything together as of yet or any time soon but Jen likes the idea of making herself a mentor for Selena."
So far the 21-year-old beauty has only starred in a few films, the biggest being 2012's Spring Breakers. It seems Jennifer has big hopes for Selena and is even said to look at the brunette star as a younger version of herself.
“Jen sees money in Selena and sees her as the potential 'next' Jen Aniston," the source added.
Selena is currently taking a break from the limelight and is thought to have called things quits with her on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber. Keeping fans up to date with her relaxing antics, she posted a photo on Instagram earlier this week showing her smiling in a yellow bikini on a beach.
"Taking my power back.. can't wait to show you where I've been. I love y'all. Ps, I still obsess over pickles. (sic)" she wrote to accompany the cute snap.
