Jen Aniston: Laughter keeps me strong
Jennifer Aniston will always hold on to her sense of humour.
The 45-year-old has been busy attending awards shows with her latest movie Cake but missed out on the best actress prize at both the Golden Globes and SAGs.
Luckily the former Friends star has a way of coping with any knock backs.
"I've experienced pain and loss - but no matter how hard it was, I never lost my sense of humour," she smiled to German magazine TV Movie.
"[Laughter] brightens up your life. I can always find something that will amuse me."
Jennifer is currently engaged to Justin Theroux and they've had to put up with pressure from fans and the media about when they'll get hitched.
The star says not saying their vows yet doesn't change anything for the two of them and they still feel a deep connection.
The actress often speaks highly of her 43-year-old beau and can't help gushing about all his great qualities.
"I love his kindness, honesty, generosity and how empathetic he is," she reeled off. "He's so full of enthusiasm and has a wonderful, cheeky sense of humour."
It will be the second marriage for Jennifer, who wed Brad Pitt in 2000 and broke up with him five years later. He's since moved on with Angelina Jolie, who he has six kids with, and Jennifer would never regret past relationships.
"You need to learn these lessons so you don't make the same mistakes again," she reasoned. "I was a late bloomer when it came to love. But now I've found The One!"
