Jen An’s ‘simple and intimate nuptials’
Jennifer Aniston’s best friend Courteney Cox was reportedly the last to leave her wedding on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old actress reportedly tied the knot with fiancée Justin Theroux in a secret ceremony on Wednesday at their Los Angeles home. While they kept things under wraps ahead of the nuptials, details of the evening have started to leak out.
“It was done completely on the sly,” an insider told Us Weekly. “It was their closest friends and very simple and intimate. There were lots of laughs as well as tears and the mood was light.”
The source added that it felt more like a warm house party than a wedding and was a complete contrast to Jennifer’s first wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000, which cost a reported $1 million.
The ceremony took place on the grounds of the couple’s $21 million home. It’s claimed the dance floor was packed with guests like Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Blunt and Jennifer’s former Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox, who was reportedly the last guest to leave.
“She left right after Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Kimmel. She left around 3 a.m,” another source told People Magazine. “At 2 a.m. they still had the music pretty loud."
Before the dancing began, guests enjoyed a selection of foods including chicken, fish, sausage, fettuccine carbonara with pork and mostaccioli pasta with red sauce. Meanwhile the wedding cake reportedly consisted of vanilla and strawberry sponge.
“It was really, really good,” the Us Weekly source continued. “[The] cake was delicious!”
Jennifer of course looked stunning, having her famous locks styled by Chris McMillan. The newlyweds were photographed by acclaimed photographer and close friend Terry Richardson while their wedding rings were reportedly designed by Jennifer’s close friend Jennifer Meyer.
The Marley and Me actress left no detail uncovered, even hiring mobile dog groomers Spa Dog for her beloved pets ahead of the event.
