Jenna Dewan-Tatum doesn’t mind what her two-year-old daughter Everly chooses as her career, as long as she’s “happy and passionate”.

The 34-year-old actress is mother to two-year-old Everly with her husband Channing Tatum.
As well as her acting career, Jenna is an incredible dancer and gets to put her skills to good use when Everly demands she throws some shapes to her favourite movie soundtrack.
“Everly loves a good dance party,” Jenna told People. “She definitely is a Frozen fan at the moment. All we do is dance to Frozen and it’s fun. Every now and again, I can get her to change it over and we listen to some actual fun pop music and she’ll be like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, so Let It Go.’”
Jenna first found fame in dance movie Step Up and has since showcased both her acting ability and stylish moves in various roles.
Her latest project saw her dance alongside partner Travis Wall on the So You Think You Can Dance finale earlier this week – a stunning performance which earned her tremendous applause from the audience.
But when it comes to Everly choosing a career, Jenna doesn’t mind what path her daughter opts for – just as long as it makes her happy.
“I’m going to let her have whatever future she wants to have. I’m not going to push anything,” Jenna added.
“Obviously, if it was dance, it would be something that’s in my wheelhouse. I just want her to be happy and passionate about something in life. That would make me happy.”
The little girl is already displaying a passion for one pastime in particular – gymnastics.
And it’s Jenna’s evening story time session with her little girl that prompted this interest.
“[Everly]’s really into gymnastics. There’s one [book], it’s called Tina Tumbles,” Jenna said. “She tells me she’s doing cartwheels. We go to a little baby gymnastics class so I got her to wear a leotard because Tina Tumbles wears a leotard. That’s her favourite. That’s her go-to right now.”
