Jenner wants to manage West’s career
Kris Jenner wants to manage Kanye West’s career, but the rapper is said to have “politely declined” her offer.
RadarOnline reports that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians ‘momager’ is interested in representing the rapper in “new endorsements and his personal life.”
However, Kanye is said to have “politely declined” the offer.
“Kris has wanted to manage someone of Kanye’s stature and talent for a very long time,” a source close to the family told the website.
“She feels that it could open even bigger doors for her career, and she is always looking to expand her client base.
“Kris has told Kanye that she would love to be his manager - even though he has a team in place.”
Kanye and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are expecting their first baby together sometime this summer.
The Watch the Throne rapper is said to be “extremely happy” with his current management team.
“Kanye won’t be pressured into anything about his career by Kris,” the source revealed. “He knows how to say no, and won’t be pushed into anything.
“Look at the announcement of Kim’s pregnancy, Kanye did that all on his own.”
The 57-year-old matriarch already represents daughter Khloe’s basketball star Lamar Odom in non-basketball matters and is reported to get 10 per cent of what her daughters make.
