Jenners ‘don’t want divorce’
Kris and Bruce Jenner will reportedly remain separated but aren’t planning to file for divorce.
Although the couple announced their split on Tuesday, they have been separated since June, according to TMZ.
Kris has reportedly declined to contact a divorce lawyer and for the present time is perfectly happy just living apart from Bruce.
The family’s reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians is said to be a major factor in their decision not to move forward. The show reportedly brings in over $40 million for the family and Kris and Bruce reportedly don’t want to jeopardise it.
The former couple earlier confirmed their split in a joint statement: "We are living separately and we are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority,” they said.
Together, the Jenners have ten children. Bruce has four sons, including Burt and Casey from his first marriage to Crystie Crownover. He also has sons Brandon and Brody from his second marriage to Linda Thompson. Kris has four children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob with first husband, Robert Kardashian. And Kris and Bruce have daughters Kylie and Kendall, the youngest in the family at 16 and 17, respectively.
Kris and Bruce’s marital problems were depicted on several episodes of their E! network television show but the couple had denied rumours of a split until now.
The former couple celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary in April.
