Jennie Garth has admitted that she has "training wheels" on with regards to dating.
The mother-of-three's estranged husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli, filed for divorce nearly five months ago after 11 years of marriage.
And the 40-year-old told Fox and Friends that the idea of romance with a new man fills her with dread.
"I always said I would rather lick a dirty floor than go back to dating," Jennie laughed.
"Dating is very new for me. I have training wheels on right now, because I was married for so long.
"That's my whole adult life, basically. I think I'm actually going back into adult adolescence. I'm having a moment."
Jennie was looking noticeably slimmer than in recent months with the toll of the split having an effect on her.
She added that she had "met a few people of the opposite sex" but is finding it hard because of her career in the spotlight.
"They come into it knowing who I am or my history," she said. "I know nothing about them, so I have a weird disadvantage."
