Jennifer Aniston loves her engagement ring so much because Justin Theroux picked it.

The screen stars announced their engagement in August 2012, after dating for a little over a year.

While they're yet to walk down the aisle, Jennifer, who used to be married to Brad Pitt, is in no doubt how lucky she is to have found Justin.

"Justin. He's the best thing this decade," Jennifer beamed when People asked her what the best thing has been in her 40s.

She also couldn't hide her affection for her engagement ring. Despite wearing the sparkler for nearly three years, the 46-year-old is still overwhelmed with it.

"I just think it's so beautiful. I love it because he picked it, put it into a setting and it's simple," she smiled.

Jennifer isn't as complimentary about her husband-to-be's wardrobe tastes though. The press are used to seeing Justin either looking smart on the red carpet or more casual as he rides his motorbike, but Jennifer wasn't instantly enamoured with his look.

"He was wearing black, black, black and I started to sweat just looking at him," Jennifer laughed of their first meeting on the set of Tropic Thunder.

She adds that their fashion tastes have now "met a bit in the middle".

Apart from the forthcoming Mean Moms film, Jennifer's schedule is pretty relaxed right now. Because of this it's thought the actress is moving to New York, where Justin is based on hit show The Leftovers.

"Jennifer and Justin spent a lot of last year apart, which put a huge strain on their relationship," a source recently told British magazine Grazia.

"Jennifer made a conscious decision to put her relationship with Justin before work and everything else. She wants somewhere modern with sweeping views of the city, and they're looking in Battery Park, Gramercy Park and midtown Manhattan."
