Jennifer Aniston says she is sick of people assuming there is a "feud" between herself and Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood actress divorced from ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2005 and has moved on with new love Justin Theroux.

But the 42-year-old told the March issue of InStyle that she wishes everyone would stop talking about the issue.

"There are so many [misconceptions about me], Jennifer said and added the one that gets to her most is "the triangle with my ex-husband - and there's a feud there."

"It's constant. It's a story headline that won't go away, but it's a money thing - [people make money off] a story that has nothing to do with reality."

Brad apologised late last year for telling Parade magazine that there were times during his marriage to Jennifer that his life was "dull" and "pathetic."

He later back tracked saying that his ex-wife was "incredibly giving, loving and hilarious."

But Jennifer says she's learned a lot from previous relationships and appears to have finally found her perfect match.

"Having experienced everything you don't want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down what you actually do want," the Horrible Bosses star revealed.

"As I get older, I realise what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won't settle for."

Jennifer is set to go on the promotional trail with Justin for their upcoming movie Wanderlust.
