Jennifer Aniston is loving every second of being Mrs Justin Theroux, labelling married life absolutely "awesome".

Jennifer Aniston is having a "awesome" time as a newlywed

The 46-year-old actress wed Justin Theroux in August 2015 after four years of dating. And opening up about married life in a new interview, Jennifer insisted she loves every aspect of being Mrs Justin Theroux.

"It's awesome," Jennifer gushed of her marriage. "I love it!"

Her thoughts about the union are shared by Justin, who said during an interview in September (15) that being married has made their relationship stronger than ever.

"Something really does shift in a wonderful way and it sort of refocuses things and in a weird way I was sort of ... it was a long time coming, but also put us in exactly sort of the right space," he told Good Morning America. "It's a wonderful thing."

Jennifer remains one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood, proving that age doesn't affect the roles you are offered in Hollywood. But one thing she's not looking forward to in the coming months is reaching the ripe old age of 47 on February 11 (16).

"Is my birthday happening soon?" she asked People magazine during the interview. "Oh, that's ridiculous. It's too soon for that. I'm going to pass this year.

"I might just quietly celebrate. But I do love any excuse for a party!"

Despite being closer to 50 than 40, Jennifer is still the proud owner of a toned, lithe figure that she works hard to maintain. The former Friends star insists she has no intention of hanging up her bikinis as she ages, and would love to be the first 80-year-old to rock a bikini.

"If I can be the first 80-year-old to go out there successfully in a bikini, then I'll take that on," Jennifer said. "I don't think anybody needs to rein in anything because of an age. That is absolute BS. To each his own! Everybody needs to stay in his own backyard."
