Jennifer Aniston is apparently arranging her own bachelorette party to avoid any embarrassing antics.

The actress is due to wed Justin Theroux later this year and their wedding plans are well underway. Although the star's friends are keen to celebrate her final days as a single woman, Jennifer has reportedly laid down the law about what is acceptable.

Many bachelorette parties feature strippers and raunchy games, none of which Jennifer is allowing.

"Jen said she wanted a small dinner party and insisted on arranging it herself. She wanted to avoid any cheesy games and gimmicks," a source told Heat magazine.

The star's pals Courteney Cox and Chelsea Handler are her bridesmaids and it was previously reported the pair were arguing about the bash. This could be the reason Jennifer took things in hand.

"On the guest list are her hairdresser Chris McMillan, Courteney, Chelsea, Laura Dern, Emily Blunt, Sheryl Crow, her make-up artist Angela Levin and actress Christine Taylor," the source added.

The event will take place in Los Angeles in a private room at the top of the exclusive Sunset Tower Hotel. There will be cocktails by the swimming pool to start, before guests are treated to a specially selected menu. The bash will apparently take place in July, fuelling rumours Jennifer and Justin will wed in the summer.

Last year it was claimed that while Chelsea wanted an evening boasting pole dancing and strippers, Courteney was after something a little classier.

"Courteney thinks a stereotypical party is a bit crass. Jen’s begged them to come together, but neither wants to budge,” a source explained.
