Jennifer Lopez mortified by raunchy sex scenes in The Boy Next Door
Jennifer Lopez finds sex scenes embarrassing. As well as a stellar music career Jennifer is also an accomplished actress and has starred opposite some of Hollywood's leading men, including Matthew McConaughey and George Clooney, over her career.
She's back in front of the camera with new flick The Boy Next Door, a sexy thriller about a divorcee falling for her mysterious neighbour. The role required Jennifer to get intimate with co-star Ryan Guzman, something that proved awkward at times.
"It was intense," Jennifer admitted to E! "Those scenes are embarrassing. They are uncomfortable, but your job as an actress or an actor is to make it believable and this movie in particular… hinges on if that was believable, that it was enough to make this guy go insane."
While she may have cringed on set, movie goers will not be disappointed with the raunchy scenes. The 45-year-old shows off her enviable figure, and she laughs she didn't need a body double for the shoot.
"It was all me," she smiled."And all Ryan, by the way."
On the music front the Latino star is thought to have wowed Vegas bigwigs with her New Year's Eve gig and is expected to be offered a full residency on the back of the show's success.
It was reported last year that Jennifer was close to signing a residency deal at The Axis at Planet Hollywood hotel, the same venue Britney Spears' A Piece of Me show currently runs.
Her recent gig was held at Caesars Palace and it apparently proved to Vegas event organisers she could sell out a venue, meaning she passed the residency test and was a hit with audiences.
“I have imagined [a Vegas show] many times,” Jennifer recently told Extra. “It would be beautiful. It would be old Hollywood meets Tina Turner and James Brown, but it would also be Jenny from the Block.
“All of those things wrapped up with some sick costumes, good lights and great music. You know I’d give you a good show.”
