Jennifer Love Hewitt has reportedly been doing research into freezing her eggs.

The 34-year-old is currently dating her The Client List co-star Brian Hallisay but is yet to have children.

Apparently the pretty brunette is planning ahead for when she does decide to become a mother.

"She has been asking a few women she knows about freezing her eggs," a source confided in Us Weekly.

Prior to dating Brian, Jennifer had relationships with a string of high-profile men, including John Mayer, Jamie Kennedy, Wilmer Valderrama and ex-fiancé Ross McCall.

Her dating track record has always ended in disappointment, which is reportedly why she wants to make sure she looks to the future.

"[She] feels worried that she will end up single, since none of her relationships have been successful," the insider added.

"If it doesn't work out with Brian, she can still be a mom one day."

The star has never made a secret of her desire to have kids, previously telling the publication she is "obsessed" with babies.

Despite the heartbreak she's been through, Jennifer will always be on the lookout for love.

"I think you learn a lot from every breakup," she smiled.

"It is so much more important that you love yourself rather than someone else. I've had breakups and they've been public, but I don't regret any of them. I adore them all. I've gotten very lucky."
