Jennifer Love Hewitt is expecting her first child with her The Client List co-star and real-life boyfriend Brian Hallisay.

The 34-year-old The Client List actress and her boyfriend and co-star Brian Hallisay began dating last year.

On Tuesday the happy couple were elated to announce they will soon welcome a new addition to their family.

“This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting our family together,” Jennifer and Brian released in a statement to People.

Jennifer and Brian, 34, who first met on the set of Love Bites in 2011, play estranged couple Riley and Kyle Parks on the hit US series.

The actress is famously unlucky in love, having called off her wedding to actor Ross McCall in 2008.

Despite this Jennifer is hopeful about her future with Brian.

“She and Brian currently live in her condo together, but they’re seriously looking to buy a house within the next few months and they’ve decided to start a family after that,” a source told Radar Online recently. “Jennifer and Brian are on the same page – baby first then a big wedding.

“Jennifer is happier than she’s ever been. She can’t wait to set up house and start a family with Brian.”
