Jennifer Love Hewitt to be ‘Zen mother’

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt will take on a “Zen” approach to parenting when her child with co-star Colin Egglesfield arrives.

The 34-year-old actress is expecting her first child with fiancé and her The Client List co-star Colin Egglesfield.

Jennifer is not worrying about motherhood as she is excited to explore the unknown realm of parenthood.

She believes whatever her relationship with the baby, it will be perfect no matter how it turns out.

"I think most people, when they're getting ready to be a mom, they go, 'Oh my gosh, I have to have all of the answers right now,' but every kid is different, every parent is different and every child and parent relationship is different, so you just sort of have to wait until you're in it and do the best that you can to try to be Zen in the middle of it all," Jennifer told Us Weekly.

She and beau Colin don’t know the baby’s gender yet.

But Jennifer still has very clear ideas of what their tot will look like.

"You sort of have these pictures in your mind of what [the baby's going to look like]," she explained. "I'm really excited to see what he or she is going to look like!"

Jennifer is taking it easy until the baby arrives.

She is grateful for the opportunity to relax before she gives birth.

"I'm off work for the moment, for the summer," Jennifer said. "It's a really happy, positive time, which I'm grateful for."
