Jenny Eclair broke down in tears at the prospect of her remaining time in the jungle without Dom Joly.
The comic said she was "surprised" at how well she had got on with her fellow I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant.
She said: "I was emotional when Dom left... I'm very surprised I became friends with Dom because I would have had him down as a bit of an a**e but I think we had the capability to make each other laugh."
But she had better news when the contestants were told they could all have a five-minute Skype conversation with family and she was able to speak to her daughter, Phoebe.
Shaun Ryder spoke to his wife and children and his first question was to ask who had won the X Factor.
