Jeremy Piven: Cleese's feather boa was unforgettable

John Cleese

Jeremy Piven will never forget seeing John Cleese wearing a feather boa.

The two actors became firm friends after John made a guest appearance on Jeremy's hit TV show Entourage. John came to see Jeremy when he was performing in a New York theatre production and it's a moment which is etched in Jeremy's memory.

"One of my heroes is John Cleese… He came to see me when I was doing Speed-the-Plow on Broadway - I remember looking into the audience and there's John, who's 6ft. 5ins., wearing his daughter's boa. So he very much stood out!" he laughed.

Jeremy portrayed Ari Gold in Entourage, which followed a group of friends who live in Los Angeles. The actor is fully prepared for people to quiz him about the series, but thinks he occasionally disappoints them with his responses.

"Er, they don't really ask me that, because, for whatever reason, I don't have one," he told the latest edition of UK InStyle, when asked if people constantly ask him about his entourage.
