Jeremy Renner: Stalker stole cat

Jeremy Renner hopes his beloved cat didn't end up as his stalker's "dinner".

The Hollywood actor has recalled losing his pet Milo to a crazed 60-year-old fan, who abducted the cat while Jeremy was in his home.

Jeremy remembers heading out of his apartment to see the man with his much-loved feline, and giving chase before he got away in a car.

"He had my cat tucked like a football, under his arm," he explained to Esquire magazine about the 2002 ordeal. "I hope Milo had a good life. I hope he didn't end up as that guy's dinner."

Jeremy also spoke about life before Hollywood in the interview. The 41-year-old star was a house builder before appearing on the big screen and says his practical career eventually helped him on the road to success in Hollywood.

"Architecture and building is about how you get around the obstacles that are presented to you," he revealed to the US publication.

"That sometimes determines how successful you'll be: how good are you at going around obstacles."
