Jersey Shore house 'vandalised'
The house featured in TV show Jersey Shore is constantly being targeted by vandals.
The property in Seaside House has become a famous landmark following the success of the MTV show. Since Snooki, Pauly D, JWoww, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro first moved into the beachside party pad in 2009, it has regularly appeared on the small screen.
However, its notoriety has now proven costly.
According to TMZ, security has been tightened around the building because it is being vandalised on a regular basis - sometimes by fans of the show.
"The realtor for the infamous house in Seaside Heights tell us... hoards of people keep tagging the outside walls with their names and random comments like, 'We love you Snooki'," reports the website. "Not only that... people are stealing roof shingles and constantly caught messing with the front door when the house is vacant.
"In light of the problems... we're told security has been beefed up and local cops are on the look-out for nefarious fans."
The owner is reportedly being forced to re-paint the outside walls almost every week to rid them of graffiti.
However, when Jersey Shore is in production then TV bosses are responsible for maintenance.
