Jessica Alba thrilled with birthday surprises

Jessica Alba has thanked her husband for making her birthday "so special" on Instagram.

The gorgeous actress turned 32 yesterday and celebrated on Saturday with a night out that included her beau Cash Warren and famous friends Rachel Zoe and Gwen Stefani.

Jessica took to picture sharing site Instagram to upload a snap of her planting a huge kiss on Cash's lips.

"Last night was the best time EVER! I love all my friends so much! Thnk u 4 making me feel so special - and the love of my life @cash_warren ur my everything! (sic)" she wrote.

The pretty star was thoroughly spoilt by her nearest and dearest on her special day.

As well as her night out on Saturday, she was surprised by friends and her make-up artist Lauren Anderson on Sunday.

"Bday surprise brunch and spa day at home w @lauren_andersen @kellysawyer and @rrari_5000 -thnk u for an awesome day ladies! (sic)" Jessica wrote.

The actress attached a picture of Lauren celebrating in the sunshine, popping the cork out of a bottle of champagne.

Devoted husband Cash took to Twitter to wish Jessica a happy birthday.

"I could search for a lifetime and never find a best friend like you...Happy Birthday my lovely wife (sic)" read his touching post.

The birthday girl's best friends Gwen and Rachel dressed up for their night out at club Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood.

Stylist Rachel was chic all in black, donning a jumpsuit with heaps of gold jewellery.

Gwen stuck to her usual quirky image, twisting her blonde hair up in multiple buns and wearing a baggy cut-out top with silver jeans.

From the picture uploaded on Instagram, Jessica seemed to be wearing a black, sleeveless top.
