Jessica Biel mocks Justin Timberlake for polling booth selfie gaffe
Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and their son Silas dressed as characters from the singer's animated movie Trolls for trick or treating on Halloween.
Jessica Biel couldn't resist poking fun at her husband Justin Timberlake's polling booth selfie drama with a hilarious message on Instagram on Monday (31Oct16).
The singer hit headlines last week (ends30Oct16) when he shared a snap of himself inside a ballot booth in his native Tennessee, unaware that he was breaking a new state law which prevents voters from taking pictures or videos inside the voting location. Breaking the law carries a sentence of up to 30 days in jail or a fine, but officials stated they wouldn't be pursuing Justin for the crime.
But while Justin escaped any official punishment, he hasn't managed to avoid being teased by his nearest and dearest.
Actress Jessica took to her social media page on Halloween to share a snap of herself alongside a sticker bearing the words "I Voted". She captioned the shot: "When you're so turnt (hyped) up about voting that you do a photo shoot with your sticker and think it's cool but then second guess it, but you've already posted, but at least you waited to get home before snapping so you won't almost go to jail, shout out to Justin Timberlake."
Justin was able to see the funny side of the jibe though, responding: "Well played, Wifey. Well played... @jessicabiel #getoutandvote #rockthevote #votelikeyoumeanit #everyvotehashtagever Ps. No selfies in the booth."
Meanwhile, Justin celebrated Halloween with Jessica and their son Silas by dressing his family up as characters from his hit animated movie Trolls for a spot of trick or treating on Monday night.
Justin dressed as his character Branch, Silas was a mini Branch while Jessica sported the costume of Anna Kendrick's character Poppy.
Posting a picture of the group on his Instagram, Justin wrote: "When you make your whole family dress up as the characters from the movie you're in but your wife secretly loves it and your son won't keep his troll wig on."
Poking fun at his shameless self promotion, Justin completed his post with the hashtag "#didIuseaholidayforselfpromo".
