Jessica Biel: 'Motherhood is my best role yet!'
Jessica Biel reveals her husband Justin Timberlake has done a "spectacular" job of writing the musical score for her upcoming movie The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.
Jessica Biel describes motherhood as her most rewarding role to date.
The 34-year-old actress and her singer/actor husband Justin Timberlake married in 2012, and welcomed their son Silas Randall in April 2015.
In spite of their busy schedules, the Total Recall star reveals her 35-year-old beau is a hands-on father and she views him as her "perfect parenting partner".
Jessica continued to gush about her young son, admitting it was sometimes difficult to find the words to describe the impact parenthood has had on her life.
"So amazing. So lovely. I'm over the moon!" she grinned to Britain's OK! magazine."It's probably the most challenging job in the world, but also the most joyous."
If Jessica had to pick her favourite time to spend with Silas, it’s when he's just woken up from his afternoon sleep.
"He looks up and sighs and I can feel his smile from deep inside. That feels like pure magic," she smiled.
Jessica has had to steal herself away from her son while filming upcoming movie The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Directed by Bill Purple from an original script by Robbie Pickering, it tells the story of architect Henry (Jason Sudeikis), who after the death of his wife Penny (Jessica) sets out to help homeless teenager Millie (Maisie Williams) build a raft to sail across the Atlantic Ocean. Of the project, the brunette beauty explains she was drawn to the narrative's themes of faith and love.
She’s also excited that Justin signed on to create the musical score for the film, a new challenge for the multi-talented musician.
"We were having dinner at our house, early on, and he expressed a sort of off-hand interest. Then when it became real, he was like 'Ummm... I don't know if I'll have the time!' But he loved the story and he jumped at it and did a spectacular job," she explained.
A release date for The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea has yet to be announced.
