Jessica Simpson has admitted her body "is not bouncing back like a supermodel" after having a baby.
The US singer and actress welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew in May, her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, and confessed that the baby weight has been harder to shift than she thought.
The star - who "did a Demi" by posing nude on the cover of a magazine when she was heavily pregnant - told USA Today: "I didn't realise it (the weight) didn't all come off with the baby."
Jessica, the new celebrity spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, is eating well and making sure she exercises in a bid to get her slender shape back and said the pounds are starting to drop off.
But she said: "I'm not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiance and herself."
And it seems she isn't too worried about what people think.
"My weight has always been something that people like to comment on. I've gotten used to it. It'll start to get boring at some point, I hope," she said.
"Nobody wants to talk about their weight. For me, I have had to come to a place where I am comfortable with myself. I'm a mom now, and get to be a role model for this beautiful little girl."
