Jessica Simpson to 'step up' weight loss
Jessica Simpson will "track her steps" as she walks five miles a day to pursue her weight loss goals.
The 32-year-old performer-turned-fashion mogul welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew in May and signed on soon after to be the latest spokesperson for Weight Watchers.
Jessica is excited about getting in shape and shared with fans how she plans to attain her objective.
"Just bought all the girls in my @weightwatchers group pedometers to track their steps (sic)," Jessica wrote on Twitter Thursday.
"10,000 steps a day = 5 miles! Let's step it up!"
The star is taking her commitment to getting fit very seriously.
Jessica has been going to the gym frequently for sessions with celebrity trainer Harley Paternak.
"Her goal right now is to lose one pound a week and Harley's training program is keeping her on that schedule," a friend told Radar Online recently.
"Jessica is trying to work out as much as she can, but she is loving every minute of being a mom and never wants to leave her daughter.
"Jessica wants to be healthy for life, not just get super skinny quickly. She knows that she isn't going to fit in size 0 jeans right away, she wants to be healthy for her daughter."
