Jessie J has made friends with the cast of Geordie Shore while performing in Newcastle on her tour.

The Wild singer tweeted a message to the MTV reality show stars encouraging them to join her at her show while she was in town.

She wrote: "I really want the cast of Geordie Shore to come my show tonight in Newcastle! Hahahaha! Charlotte? Gaz? Holly? Are you free? #ALIVETOUR"

Charlotte Crosby, who recently won Celebrity Big Brother, was quick to take Jessie up on her offer to come and see the Alive tour.

She replied: "@JessieJ Jessie!!!!!!!! I would absolutely LOVE to come!!!!!!!"

Jessie later posted a photo of herself with her new friend backstage and captioned it: "So fun meeting you Charlotte, thank you for coming! #alivetouruk #newcastle #geordieshore."

Charlotte tweeted her thanks for a great evening back to Jessie, saying: "Thank you so much @JessieJ we had the best night ever!!! Everyone please tweet her respect for me !!!"
