Jim Carrey recalls feral cat attack
Jim Carrey once fought off a very angry kitten.
The actor plays vigilante Colonel Stars and Stripes in upcoming action film Kick-Ass 2.
Unfortunately his character’s mighty fighting ability didn’t come in handy when Jim came face to face with an angry wild cat.
The star rhymed poetically about the animal attack with fans via his WhoSay account.
“I held a feral kitten once and stroked her pretty head but when I tried to put her down she scratched me till I bled. 3^|” he wrote attaching a picture of a white, sweet-looking kitten showing a demure face to the camera.
The 51-year-old star shares a number of his unique musings with the public on his social media profiles.
Earlier in the year Jim discussed his opinions about serious news events that rocked the world.
He touched on the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI in February, using the historical moment to justify his point that having a direct connection with a higher power should be priority.
“I thnk organized religion is fading and changing the Pope ws a corporate maneuver bt how u worship is your choice. I #callGoddirect }3^•>+ (sic),” Jim wrote.
In June he also used the platform to denounce his new movie Kick-Ass 2 for its extreme violence.
In the wake of December's mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, which claimed the lives of nearly 30 people, the star had a change of heart about his role.
"I did Kick-Ass 2 a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence," he wrote on Twitter. “My apologies to others involve[d] with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart.”
Kick-Ass 2 is released in theatres this month.
