Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West at war?

Kanye West has verbally attacked US comedian Jimmy Kimmel for mocking him

Kanye West and US comedian Jimmy Kimmel are locked in a war of words after the US comedian made fun of the rapper on his show.

The funnyman claimed on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live that he received a "very angry phone call" from the hip-hop star just before he began taping the show. This followed a foul-mouthed rant Kanye had launched at Jimmy on Twitter.

Jimmy claimed Kanye called to complain about a comedy sketch on his show in which a child re-enacted an interview by the rapper.

According to Jimmy, Kanye told him to apologise publicly and that his life would be better if he did.

Kimmel then cited tweets posted on Kanye's official Twitter account that forcefully take Jimmy to task, some using profanity.

Kanye wrote: "JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS.

"JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE... YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER.

"JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES ... OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P**** IN YOUR LIFE... YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY... IS THAT FUNNY?... OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???"

But some have speculated the whole spat is a spoof in itself.

Don't let a manipulator take advantage of you. Someone with a sob story will ask for money or favours. Be prepared to turn them away. Although you want to be gracious, it simply isn't wise to give assistance to people with bad motives. Other people have warned you about this trickster. Take their advice. There's often a good reason why a person has a bad reputation. If anyone dares accuse you of being selfish, stay strong. You have a right to use your hard earned money for your own benefit.More
