J-Law ‘comforted by Hoult’
Jennifer Lawrence reportedly still views Nicholas Hoult as the love of her life.
The 24-year-old actress and Nicholas met on the set of the X-Men franchise and dated on and off for around three years, before splitting in August. Jennifer went on to romance Coldplay’s Chris Martin, 37, but at the end of October it was reported they had broken up. It’s thought she has turned to Nicholas for romance advice.
“She had a lot of conversations with Nick about what was going on with Chris, and I think she realised how happy she’d been with Nick,” a source told British magazine Heat. “He’s the big love of her life. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got back together.”
Chris and Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed their marriage was over earlier this year, although they have remained civil for the sake of their kids Apple, ten, and eight-year-old Moses. It’s thought this was a source of strain on Jennifer, who found it difficult that the former spouses were still so close.
Last month Chris and Gwyneth were pictured looking intimate on a date, which is said to have been the final straw for The Hunger Games star.
“Gwyneth was concerned about how Chris and Jen should play out their romance in front of the kids. Even though Jen was practically living at Chris’ Malibu home, when Apple and Moses came around she would remove all her stuff – even her toothbrush. And if Gwyneth was coming over, Chris would sometimes have to ask Jen to leave. He’d often have to take calls and texts from Gwyn. It all got too much for her,” the insider said.
However, yesterday it was suggested that the breakup reports could be wide of the mark. People magazine claims Jennifer and Chris are still seeing each other, with the Oscar-winner said to find reports she is concerned about Gwyneth hilarious.
"They're very much together," the insider claimed. "He's very much into her and they're still seeing each other."
To add to the confusion, another source told the American magazine that the pair have gone their separate ways.
