Jennifer Lawrence reportedly has a very set idea about the kind of home she wants to buy.

The 24-year-old actress set tongues wagging last week when she was spotted looking at homes in New York City. The source of the gossip was that the properties were not far from Gwyneth Paltrow, the ex-wife of Jennifer's boyfriend Chris Martin.

Although the homes are near Gwyneth's place in Tribeca, that's apparently not why they appealed to Jennifer.

"Jen's viewing apartments with a minimum of three bedrooms and there's a privacy concern, so she's keen on a place with underground parking and underground entrances," an insider told British magazine Heat. "She started looking in June. Jen's taken her parents along to viewings, but she's strict on compromise and knows what she wants."

That said, the properties could be a little too close for comfort for some. Apparently the one which is furthest away from Gwyneth is only a three minute walk down the road.

Chris and Jennifer have been linked since last year, but they are yet to publicly confirm their romance. There has been speculation that they briefly split because she was finding it hard to see how close he still is to Gwyneth, who he has two children with.

But it's claimed Chris has proved how much he cares about The Hunger Games star by asking her to live with him, and she has the seal of approval from his son Moses and daughter Apple too.

Although Jennifer still hasn't opened up about Chris, she did acknowledge the speculation surrounding her romantic life this month.

"I'll break up with somebody and move in with them in one solid week," she told the crowd at the San Diego Comic-Con. "Am I pregnant, too? God, no.

"It's funny because... I'll always read stuff about other celebrities. Like I'll see like something on the cover of something and be like, 'Wow. They broke up?' You're like, 'Why are they...' and I'm like, 'What are you doing? You know none of this is real.'"
