Jo Wood: I can't date young men

Jo Wood

Jo Wood's children won't accept her having a toyboy.

The star split from Rolling Stones Rocker Ronnie Wood in 2008 and they are now divorced. The 64-year-old musician has since been dating younger women, but Jo, 57, insists she won't be going down the same route.

"I wouldn't mind a toyboy, but I can't date anyone who's younger than my eldest son Jamie - who's 35," she explained to British magazine Closer.

"All my kids would go crazy!"

Ronnie left his wife for Ekaterina Ivanova and he is now dating model Ana Paula Araujo. At the time Ekaterina claimed the rocker was "sick of being mothered" by Jo, and liked her as she didn't try to change him.

"I felt bad for him. I'd say, 'Ignore them, you're perfect.' But I didn't know what I was taking on, that he was a monster when he was drunk," she said. "If I met him now, I'd think, 'God, this guy has a drinking problem.' But at the time we were just having fun. I didn't realise how much an alcoholic can hurt people. He needs to be with someone motherly and that person is Jo."
