Joan Collins on Sinatra talent show
Joan Collins is turning TV talent show panellist - in a BBC One search for the best performance of a Frank Sinatra song.
The 81-year-old Hollywood star will take part in a prime-time special in which seven unknown singers perform their own version of songs associated with the musical great.
Joining the former Dynasty actress on the panel for Frank Sinatra: Our Way will be comic Rufus Hound, singer Mica Paris and the broadcaster and big band musician Leo Green.
Joan will have a better insight than most into the authenticity of a Sinatra performance after appearing alongside him and famously sharing a kiss with Ol' Blue Eyes when he made a cameo appearance in the film The Road To Hong Kong.
The BBC said the panellists would not be acting as judges but would "comment and critique" their performances, with a jury of 11 experts passing the final verdict on the interpretations of songs associated with Sinatra.
Acts will include vocal harmony groups, acapella artists, a father and son duo and solo singers.
The winner of the one-off show, to be screened next month, will win an opportunity to perform at a Sinatra centenary concert to be staged in London.
The programme is being hosted by Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong and Saturdays star Rochelle Humes.
