Joe Manganiello claims he and fiancée Sofía Vergara are attempting to keep their upcoming wedding as “private” as possible.

The 38-year-old Magic Mike XXL actor is enjoying a wonderful period in his life at the moment, as his career is incredibly successful and he is also due to marry stunning Modern Family actress Sofía Vergara soon.

But when he is not in the best mood, Joe has come to realise this is an indication of a huge neglect on his part.

"I love my life," he told reporters in Las Vegas on Saturday, according to People magazine. "I'm a life lover and if I'm not happy, I'm doing something wrong."

Joe and his future wife Sofía are planning on tying the knot later this year.

And the True Blood hunk refuses to reveal detailed information about their nuptials.

“It's our private, special day and we want to keep it that way,” he emphasised.

Sofía dished a few details though while interviewing with America’s InStyle magazine for the publication’s October 2015 issue.

The Hot Pursuit star claims Joe is being a huge, hands-on gentleman when it comes to planning their nuptials.

"The decisions for the wedding are mostly mine, but Joe loves to be part of everything," Sofía said. "He's very romantic so he likes, you know, he lets me pick and he lets me choose, but he likes to watch what I'm doing."

The ceremony is supposedly due to take place in Palm Beach, Florida this November.

And Sofía reveals the occasion won’t be too formal.

"What I want is for everybody to have a good time, to not to feel like they have to be very stuffy or like, moving from place to place," she shared. "It's going to be very simple for everybody, hopefully a lot of good food and good music."
