Joe rubbishes drug rumours
Joe Jonas has categorically stated he is not a drug addict.
The middle Jonas brother’s name has been tainted with stories that allege he has a drug problem.
But he’s said that couldn’t be further from the truth, and is not the reason behind the Jonas Brothers’ split.
"It's ridiculous! We're not saying anything for two or three weeks and I'm a drug addict! It's obviously not true. I've never touched heroin in my life.
“Neither has my girlfriend. It's hilarious to me, but also frustrating as well. It p**sed me off when it's about my girl and even about myself,” he told People.
Although 24-year-old Joe tried to laugh it off, he got upset that his girlfriend, model Blanda Eggenschwiler, was dragged into the reports too.
Joe says moving on from the band, which is made up of his brothers Nick and Kevin has been hard, but their loyal fans have been showing their support in their own unique way.
“I was walking down the street and people are asking me if they can give me a hug and how rehab is. I'm like, you tell me because I've never been.
“We all had to deal with it in our own way. I needed time to clear my head,” he explained.
Earlier today baby brother Nick told Good Morning America that it had got to the point where he felt like a train was falling off the tracks.
But the three brothers are looking towards the future, with Joe hinting that career in acting beckons.
"I'm genuinely excited,” Joe said of his future prospects.
