Johansson’s dream dinner party
Scarlett Johansson has revealed her go to karaoke song.
The Avengers actress shared her loves, dreams and favourites with the American edition of Marie Claire for its 20 questions feature.
The new mom started proceedings by naming the celebrities she would want to have at her fantasy dinner party.
“Bette Davis, David Bowie, and Bono,” she said. However there’s a fair chance that her Vicky Cristina Barcelona director would also join her as when she was asked what the best gift she’s ever received was, she replied, “Woody Allen’s glasses”.
The 29-year-old gave birth to her daughter Rose in September with fiancé Romain Dauriac. The star has always held family close to her and she admitted they bring her the greatest joy along with “key lime pie.” She is particularly close to her sister Vanessa, and confessed that her sibling can choke her up from time to time.
“Thoughtfulness and my sister's sentimentality,” she responded when asked what makes her cry. At the other end of the scale, she credits her future husband with making her laugh.
The Lucy star began acting as a child, starring in fantasy comedy North at the age of nine. But she revealed how she made her first dollar quite a lot closer to home.
“Selling tickets to my family for a "show"—aka me performing in my bedroom,” she laughed.
The publication also asked Scarlett about the song that instantly puts her in a good mood. The actress chose a song from her formative years.
“Jump Around by House of Pain, I'm a kid from the 90s,” she said, before selecting her go to karaoke song, “New York State of Mind."
