Johnny Ball reckons that his daughter Zoe will give him the grilling of a lifetime on Strictly Come Dancing's spin-off show It Takes Two.
The 74-year-old presenter, the BBC dance show's oldest-ever contestant, is not looking forward to appearing on It Takes Two because he thinks host Zoe will give him a hard time.
"She's going to tear me apart. Whatever the dancer says, she'll disagree because that's what daughters do. So they'll tear me apart between them," he joked.
Johnny revealed that Zoe, who ended up in third place when she took part in the show in 2005, has not passed on any tips.
"No, not at all. I've stuck to the conduct which says that we mustn't learn to dance until we are with our partners. But I have got fitter - I am very lean, fit and bouncy," he said.
He had to keep his participation a secret from his family.
"Zoe didn't know until about eight days ago. I kept it a secret for two months so I would hate people to think that Zoe got me into it, because it wasn't like that at all," he admitted.
