Johnny Depp has reportedly splashed out $16 million on a Tennessee estate for himself and his love Amber Heard.
The pair appeared alongside each other in the 2011 movie The Rum Diary and are now thought to be dating, following Johnny's split from Vanessa Paradis.
Apparently Johnny doesn't view his relationship with Amber lightly.
"Buying this house is the surest sign yet of how serious Johnny is about Amber," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"She's always dreamt of having a ranch. They were going to buy one in Texas, where she's from, but they fell in love with the Nashville property as soon as they set eyes on it."
Both Johnny and Amber appreciate country living.
The fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle doesn't really appeal to the couple.
"Johnny isn't bothered about living it up in Hollywood, he'd rather have the good life," the source explained.
"While Amber loves to ride horses, Johnny's serious about writing and playing music."
The property boasts 19 rooms and plenty of land for Amber's equestrian activities.
