Johnny Depp calls in One Direction

One Direction reportedly performed for Johnny Depp's daughter

Johnny Depp invited One Direction to his home so his daughter could meet the band, it has been reported.

The Hollywood heartthrob arranged for Lily Rose, 13, who is a huge fan of the band, to meet the chart-toppers at a recording studio inside his LA house, The Sun said.

A source was quoted as saying: "Johnny found out 1D were in town and, after making a few calls, they came round to his studio.

"He brought out his piano and guitars for the boys to test and they had a little jam session.

"Lily Rose just watched with her blushing mates while her dad temporarily joined the world's biggest boyband."

Meanwhile, Harry Styles flashed his latest tattoos - a pair of birds on his chest - during a special appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in New York.

He told the host: "I just like them, they're kind of like, sailor-y... about, like, travelling. Birds fly. We fly a lot."

Niall Horan got the female fans in the audience screaming when asked about his taste in women.

"I like someone that's cute. Someone that I can have a laugh with. And I also like people that are American. And you all qualify!" he said.

Harry Styles confirmed his taste in older women when he joked to Ellen: "I just think someone fun. It helps if they're nice, someone like you."
