Johnny Depp is reportedly giving up drinking to maintain his looks.
The Hollywood hunk is said to be concerned that years of hard partying have taken their toll on his appearance. He has now vowed to live more healthily so his career continues for as long as possible.
"Johnny tried to quit drinking before but this time he is really serious," an insider told National Enquirer.
"Booze is really drying and ageing to the skin - Johnny's lucky to have good genes, but he knows his looks are his meal ticket."
The 49-year-old star has even told his friends and loved ones about his plan in the hope they will be able to support him.
"He even gave his pal six of his most expensive bottles," the source laughed.
Johnny famously has a tattoo declaring Wino Forever on his arm. Although it seems to be a dedication to his love of partying, he actually had it to cover up an inking in honour of his ex-girlfriend Winona Ryder.
