Johnny Depp: Horse hated me

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp has joked a horse planned to attack him while filming his latest movie.

The actor had a scary experience while filming his latest movie when he narrowly avoided getting trampled by a horse.

The star thinks the animal might have had its sights set on him all along.

"I think the horse had it in for me!" he laughed to the UK edition of OK! magazine.

"I saw everything very clearly, which was the horse's incredibly muscular front legs moving at an obviously very dangerous speed, and I was still holding on to the mane like an idiot trying to get back up. So it's like one must make a decision, do I go down, do I hit the deck on my own, or do I wait for a hoof to split my face in two? So I chose both, to fall on my own."

The Pirates of the Caribbean star is a huge name in Hollywood and is instantly recognisable to fans.

The 49-year-old has employed some strange tactic in order to remain anonymous while out and about.

"I have worn ridiculous things to be able to go out in public now and again," Johnny revealed. "You know, glue on a fake nose, ZZ Top beard, bandana over your head and you just look like a weathered roadie."
