Johnny Lewis has been buried at sea.
The Sons of Anarchy actor was cremated and his remains scattered off the coast of San Diego, California, last week according to a death certificate obtained by E! News.
The cause of death has been deferred by the Los Angeles Department of Public Health until his autopsy is concluded.
The actor, who dated Katy Perry for 18 months in 2007, was found dead by police on September 26 after either leaping or falling off the roof of a Los Angeles home.
An 81-year-old woman identified as Johnny's landlady, Catherine Davis, was also found dead inside the residence.
Los Angeles Police have since indicated Johnny is the only suspect in her death.
Authorities believe the 28-year-old star may have been under the influence of methamphetamine or PCP at the time.
Johnny's behaviour had reportedly become increasingly erratic and he was on supervised probation after a string of arrests.
