Jolie-Pitt thief ‘busted’
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were the victims of an iPad and cell phone theft last weekend in Bellflower, California.
According to TMZ, the suspect broke into the couple’s SUV and stole two Apple iPads and a cell phone last weekend.
Brad and Angelina were reportedly with their 11-year-old son, Maddox, and a group of friends at the Hollywood Sports Paintball Park in Bellflower, California at the time.
A bodyguard is believed to have accompanied the family, leaving the vehicle unattended.
The suspect reportedly found a way to open a locked door of the SUV before taking the items.
TMZ reports an eyewitness caught the man in the act and alerted security.
Guards were able to take the man into custody until police arrived.
According to the website, the man was arrested on the scene and the stolen items returned.
A spokesperson for the paintball park confirmed the news and said the family was offered free food and other items to make up for the incident.
The suspect’s name has not yet been released.
Brad and his fiancé, Angelina, raise six children together.
In addition to Maddox, the couple also share adopted children Zahara, eight, and Pax, nine, as well as seven-year-old daughter Shiloh and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The couple are believed to be planning a wedding for later this year.
