Joshua Jackson thinks Diane Kruger has “kind of been everywhere” when it comes to holidays together.

The former Dawson’s Creek actor has been dating fellow thespian Diane since 2006. The couple lead a jetsetting life with their respective jobs so when it comes to vacations in their own time, it can be a bit of a struggle.

“She's a tough one to take to a new place, because from her modelling career in particular, she's kind of been everywhere,” he told People Magazine. “I'd like to go see some more of South America and Southeast Asia. She hasn't done too much of South America so I think we're going to try and do that. And then New Zealand – we'd both really like to go to New Zealand. She's never been."

The couple have managed to share some special journeys together despite Diane’s well travelled past. And during his chat with the outlet, the 36-year-old recalled one of his favourite memories of their time abroad.

“When had on our first vacation together, we went to Tuscany and had, not prosecco, but proper champagne sitting on the battlements in Siena," he said "That was an excellent memory.”

When the couple aren’t working or on vacation, they share homes in Paris, Los Angeles, Vancouver and a new place in New York.

However Joshua isn’t going to get much time to enjoy his latest pad as he’s busy filming hit TV show The Affair.

“My summer plans are pretty banal. Just shooting the TV show for the summer," he said. “Have you ever met an actor who's sick of adulation? Does that really exist? But the fact that people are watching, I like that – because that's what you do it for."
