Josie is crowned winner of BB11

Josie has been revealed as the winner of the 11th and final series of Big Brother.

The 25-year-old has won £100,000 and will go straight back into the house with some of the best-known faces from the show's history to compete in Ultimate Big Brother, which begins later tonight.

Josie, who lives on a farm in Bristol, was the bookies' favourite to win the contest.

She developed an on/off romance with Australian heartthrob John James during the time they spent in the house, with their relationship becoming one of the main features of the series.

She picked up a whopping 77.5 per cent of the public vote, while runner-up Welsh minister Dave received 9.1 per cent. The pair hugged and giggled on the sofa as show host Davina McCall announced the final result.

When her win was confirmed, Josie did a victory dance before kissing the delighted runner-up. BB superfan Mario came in third, boxer JJ was fourth and student Andrew came in fifth place.

Financial sales rep Josie told Davina that she would use some of her winnings to buy former housemate Steve new legs.

Josie, who left the complex in a multi-coloured maxi-dress, told presenter Davina McCall that she thought John James was "super handsome"., also saying: "Every minute felt like an hour [when he left].

"When you spend that much time with someone, when they are not there you get really down."

After he was evicted from the house on Friday, the Australian said: "I do love her, there's no doubt about that. I just have to wait until she gets out and see what happens, really."
