Julianne Hough has spoken about how she would happily rescue her dogs from a burning building should such an emergency situation arise in the future.

The 24-year-old Safe Haven actress, who is in a relationship with Ryan Seacrest, considers her pooches to be family.

Should they ever be in any danger, she would be the first to rescue them.

“Are you kidding? Oh of course [I would rescue my dogs from a burning building],” she told Cover Media.

“I had a little bit of a scare with my dogs in the place that I was staying. I left everything, I didn't even have shoes on, I had little tiny pajamas on and I grabbed my dogs and just ran rather than putting shoes on and grabbing anything that I needed.”

Julianne admits that she is somewhat of a homebody.

In response to a question about where she finds her safe haven in life, Julianne revealed that she is most comfortable surrounded by her loved ones.

“It’s super cliché to say this but it's home and family and friends and my dogs,” she gushed.

Julianne is happy to share via Twitter and other social media her love for pets and all things cute.

“I always say that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their Instagram cause you get to see their personality. Mine is food, dogs, babies,” she smiled.
