Jungle flirts leaf for tree house
They have flirted in the jungle for days, now I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! contestants Joey Essex and Amy Willerton are set to snuggle up in their own tree house.
The duo were chosen by their fellow celebrities to sleep in the room, complete with two flat beds, above the main campsite after the group were told they had to decide among themselves who could stay there.
"You're young you two, you'll gallop up there," former EastEnder star Laila Morse told the pair.
Talk show host and journalist Matthew Wright added: "Two young, good-looking people trapped in the jungle, starving for each other and possibly for food."
Continual flirting between reality TV star Essex and Willerton, a Miss Universe contestant, during this year's series has led to fellow campers comparing it to ''watching porn''.
The pair have hit it off since landing in Australia with beauty queen Willerton showing her new The Only Way Is Essex pal how to tell the time after he astounded the rest of the contestants by revealing he was unable to do so.
After climbing to the tree house on tonight's episode, Essex said: "I'm in my element. This is like a dream.
"It's a real tree house in a real jungle. It's like my ultimate dream. It's like Christmas."
Viewers of tonight's show watched the newest contestants, Strictly Come Dancing star Vincent Simone and TV presenter Annabel Giles, go head-to-head in a bush tucker trial as their fellow celebrities had to guess who would win.
The pair held a series of jungle critters in their months for 20 seconds, including stick insects, crickets, cockroaches and yabbies.
After going to a tie-break, Simone emerged victorious as he was first to finish a drink of made of blended mealworms and crickets.
Presenters Ant and Dec told the Italian he had not only won the trial but, as the other celebrities had correctly guessed he would win, he could join them in the main camp.
Giles entered the campsite later after passing a task to help Essex and Fresh Prince Of Bel Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro fill in a giant crossword.
Essex will take on the next Bush tucker trial, The Cavern of Claws, after receiving the most votes from the public.
