Justin Bieber ‘planning macho makeover’

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber wants to be more like his favourite hip-hop stars, so is planning a “macho” makeover.

The 16-year-old star is adored by girls around the globe thanks to his silky vocals, floppy hair and boyish good looks. However, Justin is said to be concerned his popularity might wane as he ages, so has decided to start altering his appearance to appeal to a new demographic.

He looks up stars like Kanye West and Akon, so is keen to emulate their style. “He’s sick of his Goody Twoshoes image and wants to rebrand himself with a new macho look and grittier sound,” a source said. “Justin is insistent that he needs to leave the clean-cut look behind.”

The star has already trimmed his signature locks, and has discussed growing a beard or moustache. He has also hired a stylist to update his look, and a personal trainer to help him buff up.

The Canadian singer is also keen to get a large tattoo on his chest and arm, although his mother Pattie Mallette is less enamoured with the suggestion.

“Justin doesn’t want to be left behind,” the source told National Enquirer. “He knows that as he grows older it will be harder to appeal to his fan base of young girls.”
