Justin Bieber plans space flight
Justin Bieber will soon be rocketing up to space, according to Sir Richard Branson.
The teenage star and his manager Scooter Braun have signed up to Sir Richard's Virgin Galactic spaceline.
The announcement was made by the business tycoon, who told his Twitter followers: "Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!"
Justin replied: "Let's shoot a music video in SPACE!! #nextLEVEL."
US actor Ashton Kutcher has previously signed up to the venture to become one of the first celebrities to reach the edge of the Earth when the trips begin.
Russell Brand and Leonardo DiCaprio are also reported to be planning to make the 60-mile trip - ticket prices cost 200,000 US dollars (£126,000).
The news came as Justin reached a milestone 40 million Twitter followers.
He is reported to be the first person on the social networking site to reach 40 million, with Lady Gaga and her 37 million followers in second place.
He tweeted: "40MillionBeliebers - thank u. i love u. #grateful."
