Justin’s family loves Jen

Theroux’s cousin says Jennifer Aniston is “so nice”.

Jen and Justin have been engaged since August 2012, and dated for 18 months before that.

According to British journalist Louis Theroux, the actress has been nothing but warm and inviting towards him since he moved to Los Angeles last year.

“We’ve met a few times,” he told UK newspaper The Mirror. “Jen is a nice person. She’s a really nice person. I hope her and Justin do get married but I don’t have any dates or anything like that. It would be nice to be there if they did.”

Although Justin and Louis are family, he admits finding the circle they socialise in intimidating. Not being well-known in America, the documentarian struggles to explain what he does to people in Hollywood.

“I have been to a few A-list parties but not massively,” he said. “It’s not my life but it’s fun dipping in to it. I’m a fan and I’m starstruck like everyone else. It’s weird though. You can talk to someone relatively famous and they say ‘What do you do? What do you do for a job?’ and I say ‘I make documentaries for the BBC’ and you see their eyes just glaze over. And then you think they just want to get rid of you.”

Jen and Justin have made it clear endless celebrity parties aren’t for them either. The former Friends star recently admitted she and Justin love to stay home and cook together, and revealed he "cooks pastas amazingly".

"Like, hello! Carbonara. It's a killer," she told America’s People magazine. "The last couple of years since meeting this man have made me gain a couple extra pounds. But it's all worth it."

Louis moved to California in 2013 to make his new BBC2 series LA Stories.
